The Digital Hospital Workshops of 2018 were launched under the Ministry of Health, İstanbul Medipol University and HIMSS Europe contuine with cooperation.The Digital Hospital Evaluation Meetings organized by the Ministry of Health in order to reach the HIMSS EMRAM Stage 6 and Stage 7 targets were held on June 29, 2018, Van. Managers from hospitals in Bingöl, Bitlis, Hakkari, Muş, Siirt, Şırnak, Ağrı, Iğdır, Kars, Tunceli and Batman participated in this meeting as well as the hospitals in Van.
At this meeting Medipol University Lecturer Dr. İlker KÖSE realized his presentation titled ‘2018 HIMSS EMRAM Our Targets and Roadmap’. In the presentation, HIMSS studies in 2017 and updated HIMSS EMRAM criteria in 2018 were explained. Steps for monitoring hospitals for Stage 6 were shared.
At this workshop, Dr. Mehmet PARLAK, on behalf of the Van Training Hospital and Dr. Akay EDİZSOY on behalf of Hakkari State Hospital presented ‘HIMSS Stage 6 Processes’. Hospitals shared their experiences and achievements during the HIMSS EMRAM Stage 6 preparations during the sessions they are presenting.
