The meeting that was held by the moderation of Dr. Ömer Fatih Sayan, Deputy Minister, Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, Lawyer Ahmet Esad Berktas, World Bank Group Consultant, MoH General Directorate of Health Information Systems, Ahmet Hamdi Atalay, General Manager of HAVELSAN, Cenk Şen, General Manager of TURKSAT and Bekir Sami Nalbantoğlu Information Systems General Manager took part as a speaker. At the meeting, in the context of health informatics; issues such as security of personal data, changing security paradigms, focusing on security of health data, security infrastructure of information systems for legal infrastructure and institution were discussed.

“In the law data are divided into personal data and private personal data. A distinction is made between special personal data and it is said that “special personal data may be transferred and processed in the estimated cases in the law, but data concerning health and sexual life can only be processed by authorized persons and institutions for the purpose of protecting public health, conducting medical treatment diagnosis and care services, planning and processing of health services and finance and for preventive medicine”.
