Turkey is a country which has always been a bridge between Europe and Asia

“Although we try to behave modestly we have right to be proud”
Prof. Dr. Sabahattin Aydın, on behalf of Medipol University, expressed his satisfaction for hosting HIMSS’18 Eurasia and added, “I think we deserve the organizing of EMRAM Training meetings here especially within the scope of Europe and Asia with the digitalization of our hospitals in recent years and covering a distance in HIMMS ratings. As Turkey, although we try to behave modestly I think we have right to be proud.”

He emphasized the success of public hospitals and expressed that private hospitals will quickly experience this process in the near future. “Turkey began to spread rapid changes in health to neighboring countries in consequence of being a country that develops its interrelation with international relations. Herewith our relationship with HIMSS, if you think in terms of HIMSS representation is not only within the borders of Turkey, also outside Turkey I think we will take an important role in spreading this activity.

Eurasia makes symbolic sense. Turkey has always been a bridge between Europe and Asia in terms of civilization, in terms of trade, in terms of political relations. We can be a bridge easily for the widespread opening of HIMSS in Asia. I think Turkey does its part in this sense.”
