Biography

Chief Executive Officer of openEHR International, holding PhD, MBA, FHIMSS and FIAHSI credentials. Before taking up the role in April 2026 he spent close to a decade as Director of Digital Health Strategy at the Catalan Health Service. He is one of the principal architects of the World Health Organization's Digital Public Infrastructure for Health initiative and contributed to shaping the technical foundations of the European Health Data Space (EHDS).
